ORCHARD DEVELOPMENT SECTOR

The development activity has been organized in four pilot bases (farms): two as fruit growing farms, one fruit tree nursery (all tree in Valu lui Traian village) and one pilot base (in Agigea village).

RSFG Constanta has also three more sectors: economical, mechanical and marketing.

The development sector sells fruits during summer time as follows: apricot, peach, nectarine, sweet cherry, sour cherry.

During late autumns (November-December) and early spring (February through April) RSFG Constanta also sells young fruit trees for the following species: apricot, peach, nectarine, apple, pear, plum, sweet cherry and sour cherry.

The trees are produced by RSFG Constanta according to the legal and quality standards used in this country.

RSFG Constanta also sells dendrological material in the same periods.

The Station offers quality guarantees for all the products delivered and horticultural consultancies as well; this refers to projects made to establish new orchards and use, fruit growing and dendrological technologies.
